Why is cleaning necessary for
containers? What types of cleaning conducted by IJS? |

There are three types of cleaning:
- Mild Cleaning; to remove dust from container.
- Medium Cleaning: to clean and soak up wet surfaces on dry container.
- Heavy Cleaning: to cleanse containers that were loaded with glutinous cargo (carbon black, white powder, oil stain)
- Chemical Cleaning/Steam Cleaning: to cleanse containers that were loaded with coal or poultry feed.
- Extra Cleaning: as customer request
Cleaning is usually executed for the interior of ex-import containers. However, exterior cleaning can also be performed upon request, such as AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Standart) |
